Coffee is served after the Sunday and Wednesday morning services. Members finance our church through the “Planned Giving Scheme” – please ask for an information sheet if you wish to join with them in this responsibility. Baby changing facilities are in the toilet area. It is our custom to exercise the normal, Biblical Ministry of Prayer and Anointing for any with particular need as an integral part of our Sunday service; those requiring this ministry are invited to return to the Communion Rail at the end of the Communion. The minibus goes around the parish collecting people for the Sunday and Wednesday services.

Open The Book is now suspended for the holidays. If you want to be involved in the next academic year, speak to Ruth.
Attendance last Sunday not recorded. Numbers take a dive during the holiday month.
Ringing News Some of our ringers have just returned from their cycling tour in the Hull area. It may take a day or two for them to recover! Whilst the tour was its usual great success, the Sticklands suffered various traumas. Rector’s car was broken into in the hotel car park, causing some inconvenience and expense. Within one mile of the end of the tour Ruth came off her bike and suffered various significant injuries. Trips to Hull Infirmary and Gloucester hospital have rather marred the end of the week. As a result, their planned cycling trip to Germany has been cancelled/postponed and they will be on “holiday at home” for part of August.
People News congratulations to John and Jenny Griffin on their Silver Wedding. Rector has heard from Moira and Harry Old up in Yorkshire. Moira is coping with her Arthritis but life will never be quite the same..
Clock Dial the work is now complete and you will agree it looks great. We have to sort out the finances now but we are grateful for a generous donation from Quedgeley Village Trust and private individuals.
Be friendly we tend to be very friendly – to each other! We too easily leave people we don’t know standing on the side-lines. Please make a point of speaking to someone you don’t know during the Peace or the après-service coffee. Sadly, I often see people standing alone on the side-lines while you chat cheerfully to the same people you chat with every Sunday. Of course, if you rush straight out at the end of the service then you never get to know anybody
PCC minutes are available at the back. Can PCC members make it their responsibility to collect them.
