Coffee is served after the Sunday and Wednesday morning services. Members finance our church through the “Planned Giving Scheme” – please ask for an information sheet if you wish to join with them in this responsibility. Baby changing facilities are in the toilet area. It is our custom to exercise the normal, Biblical Ministry of Prayer and Anointing for any with particular need as an integral part of our Sunday service; those requiring this ministry are invited to return to the Communion Rail at the end of the Communion. The minibus goes around the parish collecting people for the Sunday and Wednesday services.

Attendance last Sunday
– 77% up a bit

Churchyard with the improving weather, it may be time for a group to spend an hour or two tidying up the churchyard?

Choir Practice
is moved to 7.30pm on Friday. We are learning a new setting of the Communion so come along to learn that, even if you don’t want to be a choir member.

First Sunday Lunch this has been growing in popularity lately – we were eighteen at The Ship last month (and 14 today). With the frequent changes of management at The Ship we might think it time to try somewhere else as an experiment. Any suggestions?

Mothering Sunday cards are on sale at a range of prices. See Ruth.

Connie
Rector is pleased to say that he finally managed to visit Connie this week. She is frail but was able to have a conversation of sorts with Rector.

Annual Parish Meeting
on 25 April after the Sunday morning service. In order to vote at the meeting you must be on the Church Electoral. Existing names will continue in to the coming year but new enrolments should be done now. The relevant form is available at the back of the church or speak to Pete Allen.

Trips we have the first of our new season trips – Cardiff on Thursday. I suspect that the bus is full but it is worth asking Gill if there are any spaces. Why not arrange a trip yourself? Some stately home, some beauty spot, the theatre in Tewkesbury, Cheltenham and Bristol? The more we use the bus the more economical it becomes.

Memory Lane
Madeleine has bequeathed us a lot of old photos going back twenty of more year. Have a look and see who you can recognise. Maybe you will find it hard to recognise your younger self!

Agapé book your tickets for the Maundy Thursday service now; speak to Jenny Perry.
